Licence
What you can do with a Pamyu plugin, in plain words.
Licence v1. [[date]]
You can
- Use it in any number of your games.
- Sell those games, commercial games included.
- Change the code to fit your game.
- Ship it inside your game builds on every platform.
You can't
- Share or sell the source code, even changed.
- Resell the plugin, or parts of it, as your own asset or tool.
- Put the code in a public repository.
Lite and Full
Both versions have the same licence. Use them in any number of games, commercial games included. Don't share or sell the code. The only difference is the credit.
Lite: Add a small "Made with pamyu" credit in your game. See the credit
Full: No credit needed. You're welcome to keep it.
Text Effects is free and follows the Lite rule. Confirm credit for Text Effects
Good to know
One licence per buyer. Team seats policy
Fonts. Fredoka and Nunito use the SIL Open Font Licence. You can ship them in your game.
Credit. Lite plugins ask for a small "Made with pamyu" credit. Full plugins don't. See the credit
The Made with pamyu credit
If you use a Lite plugin, add this small credit where players can see it: your credits screen, an about screen, or your game's store page.
Keep the credit as-is. It can link to pamyu.dev. Please don't reduce the dots or change the wording.
